Vince Graber for Town Council

My brother Vincent is a town council member in West Seneca, NY. He recently ran for re-election and needed a couple of advertisements typeset for a community newspaper.

His idea was to grab the reader's attention with big headlines. I worked with him to fine-tune the copy. Let's just say Vince was one of my toughest customers: no-money and very 'passionate' if something wasn't done his way.

Fortunately, he won another four-year term. I'm already holding my breath for the next election....

Synergy Medical Clinic Website

My cousin's wife Jen is a naturopathic physician. I assisted her in producing a web site for a new practice that they're developing.

Synergy Naturopathic Medical Clinic is in Anaheim, California. Bill had a friend of his design the look and feel and charged me with implementing it. Besides the HTML, I created a simple system that allows him to update selected areas with new information.

Web Address: http://synergymedclinic.com

The Capital City Toastmaster Tool

Created a unique little tool to assist members of a public speaking club in distributing announcements and notices.

For anyone who has ever been in a Toastmasters club knows, each meeting is ran by the 'Toastmaster'. A key part of this responsibility is notifying members who have roles during the upcoming meeting, announcing the theme of the meeting, who's speaking, etc. This is commonly done via email and but can take time, especially for professionals. Hunting down the participant's and their email addresse is a pain.

To address this pet peeve, I developed a little tool for my club's members to access and utilize in sending these meeting notices. The challenge was to make the user interface responsive and interactive so as to limit errors. Overall, I produced it for the learning benefit and the challenge.
