Webct Upgrades to Vista

In my prep for the upcoming start of this class, it appears that the learning system has been upgraded. We had been using a dated version of Webct. It now appears to have morphed to Vista

I had noticed some changes right away, as I usually logon daily. There was this new option....so I gave it a spin. It seemed to be working well. I couldn't wait for class to start. I even hoped that they may have gotten rid of those horrible frames.

Well my delight quickly turned to frustration on the first day of classes (today). The shit didn't work. At first I thought it was my browser, but after trying it wit WINXP IE6, I knew something was funky.

Nada. Nothing. A pretty screen, yes. But no content.

I sometimes lament at why software installs and migrations fail. It might very well be that WVU IT is understaffed. A migration like that could be big one.

I'll be sure to post when things work themselves out.
