Amazon's One-Click
I'm such a ecommerce novice sometimes. For the first time today, I used Amazon's One-Click. Five years ago the concept broke new ground in the world of ecommerce. Now I know why.
I used it to buy the textbook for this class. I handn't ever activated it. Simple setup, followed by KISS, the concept worked great.
Beautiful.
The only thing about the transaction that suprised my some was the cost of the book. I went with a used one. We'll see how it turns out.
--------Updated -------------
Well it seems like Alibris was out of the book and now I may be scrambling...Usually the online classes don't gear up until the later part of the first week. I should have time to get it.
What's more interesting about the class is that I am not seeing it in Webct. Usually the professors get things set up well in advanced. Hopefully there not a problem. Should know in a couple of days.
